Militants in Iraq Create Video on Missing Soliders...
Militants in Iraq have have created a video expressing the ID cards of tow missing soldiers. Bush Plan is "Amnesty"
The Bush Plan is being referred to as his immigration plan. Rep. Peter King stated that the current bill before Congress amounts to amnesty and that it was worst then current law. Bush took on his critics and accused them of using scare tactics to boost opposition to an immigration bill that he supports.
"If you want to scare the American people, what you say is [that] the bill is an amnesty bill," the president said last week in Georgia. "It's not an amnesty bill. That's empty political rhetoric, trying to frighten our fellow citizens."
The language made many of those who helped President Bush in his last 2 campaigns who have supported him throughout his entire presidency. When asked if he was trying to frighten the people, Mr. King said no. "I have great regard for President Bush," he said, "but I disagree with him on this."

Ruffini Wants Out
Patrick Ruffini, who was running Rudy Giuliani's Internet procedure, has quit the campaign. Mr. Ruffini says he still supports Mr. Giuliani for president. While it seems Mr. Ruffini left on fine terms, it's probably worth noting that so far the Giuliani Internet operation hasn't been any great shakes. Ruffini said the decision to cut ties with the former mayor was his own and "was done amicably." He had said he was starting up a consulting firm, and believed all his focus and attention should be there. Once asked whether or not he still supports Giuliani's campaign he didn't reply for any other comments.
Another Actor in Politics?
Former US Senator Fred Thompson (R-TN) and Law & Order Star has said he will make his official notice for President over the July 4th Weekend. According to Advisors Thompson has already made millions so far for his Presidential Run. Also according to Thompson Advisors he is being supported by insiders from the past three Republican Administrations. Fred Thompson is considered by many the only Real Conservative Choice for President in 2008. A Recent Poll showed that Mitt Romney was not effected in any way by Thompson joining the race. McCain decreased 5-10 points and Giuliani dropped by 1-2. The rest went to 0 or closer to it. So it seems that McCain will suffer the most during Thompson's run, Romney will have a better shot and Giuliani will have to explain more on his social views. However there is still much time to figure out.

Senate Intelligence Committe Criticizes Bush
The Senate Intelligence Committee criticized the entire Bush Administration for there interrogation methods. The Committee said that the CIA’s detention and interrogation program has produced "damage ... to the image of the United States abroad" and this cost must be evaluated against any "demonstrated value" provided by the program. Those are some big words that i personally cant agree with. I understand he is making mistakes but as for right now he is out president and there's nothing we can do to change that. I'm a firm believer in sticking by your leader, to not show any weakness for other countries to notice. One his presidency comes to an end, you can go ahead and criticize all you want.
$5 Billion Dollars to IED's
Congressional leaders pushed through an "emergency" spending plan last week that did not consist of a timeline for retaining troops from Iraq but did contain importnat funding to counter the effect of improvised explosive devices (IED). President Bush signed the bill on Friday. Most of the Senate voted yes (80-14), with Presidential hopefuls Sen. Clinton (D-NY), Sen. Dodd (D-CT) and Sen. Obama (D-IL) voting "no."
Tim Griffin Resigns
President Bush appointed Griffin as US Attorney at the age of 34 for the Eastern District of Arkansas after the Administration had language inserted in the Patriot Act Reauthorization Bill that removed Senatorial confirmation of replacement US Attorneys. Griffin had served as Karl Rove's "director of opposition research," and news reports suggest Rove and Harriet Miers wanted Griffin in Arkansas.

Head-to-Head Debate
The war in Iraq has divided the presidential candidates for the Democratic party in their most recent live TV debate. The debate held repeated calls of US withdrawal. Not only were they bumping head there, but also in the case of whether or not President Bush had made the US safer from terrorism since 9/11. Obama made it a clear point that both Mr. Edwards and Sen. Clinton had voted in Oct. 2002 in favour of the US-led invasion. The following it up with the fact he oppossed this war from the start. Edwards commented with "He was right, I was wrong." Yet Se. Clinton refused to admitt that her vote for the invasion at the time was wrong. Whether or not she believed it was wrong at the time or not, she stated all the blame should be on President Bush and we should withdrawour US forces. Should be nice to see how the next debate plays out this coming Tuesday.
US-India Nuclear Deal
The nuclear landmark negotiation in Delhi, India has failed. Under this deal, India would have had access to US civilian nuclear technology, if and only if it was open its facilities to inspection. A lot of critics have said that this would only encourage India to develop its nuclear arsenal. Critics have also mentioned that by doing so, this would send the wrong message to countries like Iran, whose nuclear plans and ideas Washington is against. They haven't given up completely on the ideas; there are just a few gaps left that need to be filled in.
Bush on US Compassion
This week President Bush will leave to Europe to meet with the leaders of the worlds industrialized nations. Unlike previous meetings which were dominantly on Iraq, this year the group will discuss international problems. Bush will be stressing the more compassionate side of US foreign poliicy. For example, the US plans on tightening existing econmic sanctions against Sudan, and giving the government additional ones to stop the maddness in Darfur. His next topic he wants to cover was global warming. The idea Bush has is to bring in countries like India and China and other fast growing countries to negotiate and set goals on energy security, reducing air pollution, and cut down greenhouse gases for the next 10-20 years.
New Cold War?
It is known that Iran and the US have been having trouble to on finding common ground with the US in Iraq. Now as of recent, some are beginning to foreshadow the fact that the US and Iran are in the mix of slowly building up their tensions to create Cold War. The US has been claiming that Iran has been trying to destabilise their military presence in Iraq; while Iran has been claim the Bush administration trying to format a "velvet" revolution" in Iran.

This is was it becoming into...
Its been like this for some time now. People have been making a joke of the entire situation. There are still a lare percentage of people who are living in their own little bubble not wanting to take the situation at hand seriously. The fact that the Bush administration set out a goal to find Osama Bin Laden, and the fact they haven't accomplished that goal yet, the good amount of Americans are out to make a mockery of him and his administration. I still find it really strange how they have been able to find anyone they've ever set the heart on to find, yet they can't seem to find the one man who makes them believe they have access and authority into any country? A little strange if you ask me.
Freedom of Religion?
It seems in recent days that the presidential candidates having been spending and extra amount of their time and effort in explaining into detail where exactly they "say" they stand on their religious beliefs. You can only believe so much of what you hear. I personally believe it shouldn't matter, to a certain extent obviously, what our presidents religious view point is. Now if he were to be an atheist, I would worry because would this person worry about some decisions he could make that could ruin the so called "dynasty" we have come to build.
Democrats in general are targeting Roman Catholics, mainline Protestants, and even Evangelicals. Obama has even gone to the extent of holding a weekly conference call to spread his message to religious leaders and opinion makers and report their concerns to the campaign. Some are even given a hard time, for example former mass. governor Mitt Romney has been getting questioned for his Mormon faith.

New US Embassy in Iraq
The plans for the new US embassy were just recently taken off by the same architects, for the simple fact it could possibly cause future danger with security. The State Department had tried to get them removed as quick as possible, but its never fast enough now of days. The plans and everything had already been posted and discussed about in some blogs. The Internet has grown and expanded so much since its early stages, that you should be aware of anything you post online, and anything you say on the streets for that matter. When completed, this US embassy will be known as one of the biggest/most expensive tightly guarded US embassies in the world. Ten pictures were put out giving an overall layout and some personally buildings.
Call me silly, but who in the right mind would authorize pictures like that to ever leak out. Didn't they learn anything from past experiences? For emaple in Afghanistan when the War on Terror first began, information endangering their safety leaked out from people emailing others back home, describing where they were with possible other classified information. Just recently, has the military put bigger sanctions on emailing and blogging on the soldiers and US officials.

Push for New Sancation in Iran
The UN has said to press for a complete new set of sanctions in Iran. This is all due to the simple fact that Iran has continued to suspend its uranium enrichment programme. It followed a UN nuclear watchdog warning that Tehran was increasing enrichment and obstructing inspections.Mr ElBaradei has suggested that Iran keep part of its programme, but this view clashes with the view the US has and some European governments as well. A few months back the UN Security Council imposed a second round of sanctions on Iran for failing to suspend uranium enrichment, making Tehran to limit its co-operation with the agency. However, IAEA, international atomic energy agency, inspectors still regularly visit Iran's atomic facilities under the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
