US-India Nuclear Deal

The nuclear landmark negotiation in Delhi, India has failed. Under this deal, India would have had access to US civilian nuclear technology, if and only if it was open its facilities to inspection. A lot of critics have said that this would only encourage India to develop its nuclear arsenal. Critics have also mentioned that by doing so, this would send the wrong message to countries like Iran, whose nuclear plans and ideas Washington is against. They haven't given up completely on the ideas; there are just a few gaps left that need to be filled in.
